The 2018 Renault Duster has made its first public debut at the Frankfurt International Auto show, and it gets a complete rework. While it’s vital stats remain the same, Renault-Nissan have given it a complete overhaul gone are the bulbous wheel arches that have been replaced for sinewy lines and edges.

In profile, the Duster looks almost the same, and it is clear that the vital stats have not changed dramatically. The panels, however, have been redesigned. However, what stands out the most are the new shape alloys. The machine cut design paired with the black and chrome wheels make a strong statement on the new Duster.

On the rear the square profile steal the show, the rest of the rear profile looks a lot like the present Duster. However Renault have worked on the finer details retuning the edges and the design to reflect a more modern style.

The interiors on the Duster have been given a touch up The cabin too gets a refresh and features a new instrument cluster, centre console and steering wheel. The all black interiors are accented by a new infotainment system with a new UI and added feature. The circular style aircon dials are another new addition.

The Duster’s stellar success in the sub-continent means that it will be on Renaults priority list. We are expecting that the rebranded “Renault” Duster will make it to showrooms by late next year. However we will probably get our first look at the Duster at next year’s Auto Expo. What’s even better is that Renault have decided to keep the engine although we figure that they may give it a few tweaks for NVH.
