Mahindra will be unveiling the new BE 6e electric SUV globally tomorrow and the SUV has been seen on test multiple times, while the carmaker also released sketches of the vehicle. Now, with the dates closing in and set to be officially unveiled, here are the top three things to watch out for with the new Mahindra BE 6e all-electric SUV.
Mahindra BE 6e — What to expect?
Mahindra BE 6e — Platform and design
The Mahindra Mahindra BE 6e electric SUV will be based on the INGLO platform, Mahindra’s dedicated EV base. The SUV will feature a Coupe design with a sloping rear roof while featuring C-shaped DRLs, squarish wheel arches, and a muscular design. The Mahindra BE 6e is based on the BE 05 concept and will be unveiled alongside the Mahindra XEV e9.
Mahindra BE 6e — Features
Modern cars generally have a long list of features and the Mahindra BE 6e is not skipping out on any. Going by Mahindra’s teasers and sketches, the BE 6e will get a dual-screen layout – one for the infotainment system and the other for the instrument console – along with wireless smartphone connectivity, ventilated seats, power-adjustable seats, wireless charger, electronic parking brake, and much more.
Mahindra BE 6e — Battery specifications
The INGLO platform of the Mahindra BE 6e allows the batteries to be spread out well, distributing the weight equally without taking up the interior space of the car. Mahindra will equip the BE 6e with two battery options – 59kWh and a 79kWh unit – which can be charged from 20–80% in 20 minutes with the help of a 175kW fast charger. Mahindra has not disclosed any details regarding the range, however, we can expect a class-leading range from the BE 6e.
