Lexus has introduced the new RZ range of vhicles, including the all-new RZ 300e FWD version. The updated range consists of the RZ 300e and RZ 400e, which get a host of new features, mechanical updates, and design tweaks.
Starting with the Lexus RZ 300e, the SUV is available in two versions — front-wheel-drive (FWD) and all-wheel-drive, the former being a new addition to the range. Prices for the new RX range starts from $55,150.
The new RZ 300e range is powered by a 72.8kWh battery pack that makes 201 horsepower and has an estimated range of 266 miles or 428km, while it can be had with 18-inch or 20-inch wheels.
The RZ 400e uses a 71.4 kWh battery pack and gets all-wheel-drive with two motors, one powering each axle, making a combined power of 308 horsepower. Lexus claims a 0 to 100kmph acceleration in 5 seconds and a range of 354km.
Inside, the Lexus features a ‘a minimalist, yet airy’ approach with a driver-focused interior layout. The vehicles get a 10-inch head-up display unit, a shift knob with shift-by-wire technology, and gets three interior colour options: Thunderstorm and Macadamia, Palomino, and Dapple Gray.
Other features include 5 USB ports, a 14-inch infotainment system with navigation and smartphone connectivity, a 13-speaker Mark Levinson audio system, advanced park, traffic jam assist, and ADAS tech amongst others.
