The British crew, Led By Donkeys, dropped a video they claim is an epic showdown against Elon Musk’s “fascism” because nothing screams rebellion like a good old viral jab.

A 98-year-old veteran defied all logic and took the anti-Tesla protest to epic proportions by smashing a Model 3 with a World War II Sherman tank, marking the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day. This tank versus Tesla video was posted on social media platforms by a British political campaign group, Led By Donkeys.

War against Elon Musk’s fascism?

In the video, British World War II veteran Ken Turner introduces himself along with a Sherman tank. Turner said, “I’m old enough to have seen fascism the first time around, now it’s coming back.”

Before firing up the Sherman tank and decimating the Model 3, for safety’s sake, the battery had been removed from the EV. Turner shared a message for Tesla co-founder, “Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, is using his immense power to support the far-right in Europe, and his money comes from Tesla cars. I’ve this message for Mr Musk — We have crushed fascism before and we will crush it again.” Turner started the tank and charged towards the Model 3, running over the EV.

After the video was posted, Led By Donkeys posted a moment on X (former Twitter), “Hey @elonmusk wanna see a WW2 veteran run over a Swasticar in a Sherman tank?”

Since Donald Trump’s election as U.S. President, Elon Musk’s close ties with him have faced intense scrutiny, sparking a wave of anti-Tesla protests, arson, and vandalism incidents globally. From his controversial alleged Nazi salute at Trump’s inauguration to endorsing Germany’s far-right AfD party at an anti-immigration rally to taking up the unofficial advisor to the President of US by heading Department of Government Efficiency, were all rejected by car buyers across the world. This is the reason why Tesla sales plunged to 62% in the UK in April, 67% in Denmark, 74% in the Netherlands and 33% in Portugal, according to data from auto industry trade groups in these countries.
