Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has launched the Range Rover Evoque Autobiography Edition in India with prices starting from Rs 69.50 lakh. It replaces the outgoing top-spec Dynamic SE trim from the Evoque range which was priced at Rs 67.90 lakh (both ex-showroom).
Available in a single trim with petrol and diesel powertrain option, the Range Rover Evoque in India continues to be a locally-assembled CKD. For a premium of Rs 1.60 lakh, the Evoque Autobiography edition comes with additional features and cosmetic upgrades over the outgoing trim.
Range Rover Evoque Autobiography: Exterior
The smallest in the Range Rover class, the overall design of the Evoque remains unchanged. That said, the Autobiography Edition gets some special highlights to distinguish itself from the rest of the lineup. The bonnet now incorporates copper accents, while the rear features copper detailing on the tailgate lettering.
Additionally, it is equipped with Pixel LED headlights and distinctive signature DRLs. Further, it rolls on 19-inch alloy wheels adorned with Burnished Copper accents that enhance the SUV’s luxurious appeal. There are four exterior shades on offer namely Fuji White, Arroios Grey, Tribeca Blue and Carpathian Grey.
Range Rover Evoque Autobiography: Features
Inside the cabin, the Range Rover Evoque Autobiography gets a new Cloud/ Ebony interior finished in Windsor leather. The cabin is better equipped than the SE trim. Comfort of occupants is ensured by 14-way electrically adjustable front seats with cooling, heated front and rear seats, and two-zone climate control.
Convenience features on offer include sliding panoramic sunroof, a 14-speaker 650W Meridian audio system with a sub-woofer, a 11.4-inch touchscreen Pivi Pro infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital driver’s display, an electronically adjustable steering, and a suedecloth roof liner. Safety features include an intrusion sensor, tyre pressure monitoring system, locking wheel nuts, cruise control with speed limiter, Driver Condition Monitor, and front and rear parking aids.
Range Rover Evoque Autobiography: Powertrain
Range Rover Evoque Autobiography is available with two powertrain options. The first option is a P250 petrol mild hybrid engine delivering 248bhp and 365 Nm of peak torque. The second option is a D200 diesel mild hybrid engine delivering 201 bhp and 430 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties on both variants are carried out by a 9-speed automatic gearbox with an all-wheel drive setup.
