Mahindra is set to unveil the updated XUV300 on April 29, however, the updates include a new name as well, the 3X0. This new nomenclature could spill over to the XUV700 and the XUV500 in the future.
Mahindra 3X0 — What to expect?
The Mahindra 3X0 has been spied on testing numerous times and the carmaker has finally revealed a teaser video, showcasing the design of the sub-4 metre SUV. The 3X0 will get LED headlights, a sleek tail lamp that runs across the boot, and new alloy wheels.
The teaser also shows the interior of the new Mahindra 3X0, but not revealing details on the infotainment system. The unit is expected to have wireless smartphone connectivity, while the dash could also be fully digital.
In terms of power, Mahindra could offer the 3X0 with petrol and diesel engine choices, as competition such as the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and Tata Nexon still offer diesel engines. As for specifications, the engines could be the same 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel, while gearbox choices will be a manual and AMT.
