German carmaker Mercedes-Benz has launched the 2024 GLA and the AMG GLE 53 Coupe in India, priced at Rs 50.50 lakh and Rs 1.85 crore respectively, ex-showroom. The new GLA Mercedes-Benz GLA is available in three variants, while the GLE 53 Coupe is available in one variant, but with an extensive list of customising options.

2024 Mercedes-Benz GLA
The Mercedes-Benz GLA gets a new radiator grille with vertical louvres and horizontal fins while maintaining its familiar silhouette. The smallest SUV on offer from Mercedes-Benz gets body-coloured wheel arches, along with LED headlamps and tail lamps. The GLA is offered in five colour options: Polar White, Cosmos Black, Iridium Silver, Mountain Grey, and Spectral Blue.
Inside, the cabin is finished in either Black or Macchiato beige, while featuring the latest MBUX -NTG7 infotainment system, wireless phone connectivity and charging, blind spot assist and exit warning function, 360-degree camera, keyless go function, hands-free boot operation, adaptive high beam assist amongst others.
The new GLA is offered in three variants as mentioned earlier, but with two engine options, a 2.0-litre diesel and a 1.3-litre petrol. The former is mated to an 8-speed DCT while the petrol engine is paired to a 7-speed DCT.

AMG GLE 53 Coupe
The AMG GLE 53 Coupe is all about luxury and performance, as the Coupe features a six-cylinder engine paired to a 48V Mild hybrid Tech, able to propel the coupe to a top speed of 250kmph. The GLE 53 Coupe gets AMG RIDE CONTROL+, a feature that automatically controls the car level depending on speed, load and drive mode selected.
