The premium derivative of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga i.e. the XL6 has made its debut in India today. Set to retail exclusively through Maruti’s Nexa dealership outlets, the XL6 is going to fall in-between the range of Rs 9.79 lakh to Rs 11.46 lakh (ex-showroom). In order to differentiate the two MPVs, Maruti Suzuki has provided the XL6 with slightly different exterior styling along with minor updates inside the cabin as well. The engine line-up of the XL6 comes with a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine, mated to Suzuki’s SHVS mild-hybrid system. The said engine is BS-6 compliant. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque converter automatic.
