Mahindra XEV 9e Pack Two launched in India — Here’s what it gets

Mahindra has introduced the XEV 9e Pack Two in India, which gets two battery pack options and a host of features. Deliveries are set to commence this month.

Mahindra has seen immense success with its latest EV offerings, the BE 6 and XEV 9e. Adding to the excitement, Mahindra has launched the Pack Two version of the XEV 9e, priced at Rs 24.90 lakh onwards, ex-showroom. The Mahindra XEV 9e Pack Two is offered in two versions and also packs a host of features.

Mahindra XEV 9e Pack Two — What do they get?

The Mahindra XEV 9e Pack Two is offered with two battery packs: 59kWh and 79kWh. The latter is priced at Rs 26.50 lakh, and Mahindra claims that the XEV 9e Pack Two with a 59kWh battery pack offers a range of 400km while the larger 79kWh battery pack version offers a 500km range. The motor makes 282bhp and 380Nm of torque and a single motor powers the rear wheels.

In terms of charging, the 59kWh version of the Mahindra XEV 9e takes 20 minutes to charge from 20–80% in 20 minutes using a 140kW DC fast charger, while the larger battery pack version – 79kWh – can be charged to the same level in 20 minutes using a 175kW DC fast charger.

Also to be noted is that the charger and installation price are extra, and the prices will differ at the time of delivery, which is slated to take place later this month.

The Mahindra XEV 9e is a feature-rich EV and the Pack Two versions get multiple drive modes, multiple regeneration modes, adaptive cruise control, 19-inch wheels, three TFT screens, wireless smartphone connectivity, wireless charging and much more.

Safety includes six airbags, Level 2 ADAS, cornering lamps, brake-by-wire technology, driver drowsiness detection, electronic park brakes, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors with an HD camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and more.
