New Mahindra Thar ROXX Launch Highlights: The much-anticipated Mahindra Thar Roxx, also known as the five-door Thar, has been unveiled. The Thar Roxx sports a bold new look, featuring a refreshed grille, C-shaped LED DRLs integrated with a projector headlight setup, circular fog lights, diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED tail lights, a tailgate-mounted spare wheel, and sleek rear door-mounted handles.
The entry-level MX 1 petrol and diesel models are priced at Rs. 12.99 lakh and Rs. 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. Pricing for the other variants go up to Rs 18.99 lakh.
The MX1 is equipped with Mahindra’s 2.2-litre diesel engine, delivering 148bhp/330 Nm, and a 2.0-litre petrol engine, producing 158bhp/330 Nm. Both engines come paired with a six-speed manual transmission that powers the rear wheels.
As for features, the new Mahindra Thar Roxx includes electric power steering, three-point seatbelts for all passengers, driver seat height adjustment, penta-link suspension with Watt’s link, six standard airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), brake locking differential and premium embossed fabric upholstery.
Inside, the five-door Thar promises a host of modern features, including a panoramic sunroof, ADAS suite, automatic climate control, a fully digital color instrument console, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android connectivity, ventilated front seats, and six airbags.
