The Mahindra Thar Roxx, launched in August 2024, was one of the most eagerly awaited vehicles of the year, capturing the attention of off-road enthusiasts and Bollywood stars like John Abraham, who were quick to reserve theirs. Beyond its tough design and cutting-edge features, Mahindra prioritized safety, making the Thar Roxx the third vehicle in its lineup, after the XUV700 and 3XO, to feature Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Taking John Abraham’s feedback into account, Mahindra introduced key upgrades now available across all Thar Roxx models. Avtansh Singh, on his YouTube channel, highlighted the standout features of the top-spec AX7 L diesel manual variant.
Mahindra Thar Roxx update: What’s new?
The Thar Roxx is now equipped with new features that are practical and convenient. Staring with keyless entry. The Bollywood actor had requested Mahindra to integrate sensors on the driver and front passenger door handles for easy entry and exit. This feature is now available in the top trim of the Thar Roxx.
Comfort is very important when it comes to a driving posture and Abraham wanted an adjustable armrest that can slide. This may be a basic feature, which, for some reason wasn’t earlier available, but now is. The third update is the new wipers, which are aerodynamic and flat. The design reduces friction noise when in use and keeps the cabin silent.
