John Abraham recently received his Nissan GT-R Black Edition and the first thing one would notice is the all-black treatment. In a recent facebook video on the celebrity’s social media handle, the outlaw from the movie, Dhoom did a walkaround of his brand new Nissan GT-R Black Edition.
In terms of the exterior colour treatment, the Black Edition gets an all-black treatment which includes blackened alloy wheels with orange brake callipers and black exterior colour , black headliner, seats and contrasting red stitching. Mechanically, this edition is powered by the hand-built 3.5 litre V6 petrol motor that generates 561 hp of power and 672 Nm of torque which is the same as the stock GT-R. This one, although, looks intimidating in pictures. In the video below, you can make out how proud a feeling it is for John Abraham to own the Godzilla, that too in black.
The transmission on the Nissan GT-R is a 6-speed automatic one which sends power to all wheels. Although this car was developed keeping in mind that it should mash the driver’s mind in corners, it has a zero to 100 kmph time of under three seconds. To keep the tyre in place while negotiating these corners, there is a knurling on each rim so that the tyre does not come off.
Apart from the Black Edition ‘Godzilla’, the Bollywood actor also owns a black coloured Nissan Terrano.
