Social media sensation Chandrika Dixit or popularly known as Delhi’s ‘Vada Pav Girl’ and the man who served tea to none other than Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Dolly Chaiwala, have again managed to create waves and hog the headlines as they were seen driving iconic sport cars to their respective stalls.
Vada Pav Girl behind the wheel of Ford Mustang
Dixit first posted a teaser— something big coming soon on Instagram as the video showed her sitting in the boot of a car with a plate of pav or bread. Later, she posted a video of her driving a Ford Mustang on her Instagram account where she wrote —Vada Pav Girl starts selling vada pav in a Mustang car.
This is not the first time Dixit has posted her love for luxurious cars as she had earlier shared videos with a Porsche convertible and a Bentley. Like many influencers, the Vada Pav Girl is an Apple fan girl and recently shared a video of her picking up an iPhone 15 Pro Max, AirPods and an Apple Watch.
Dixit went viral roughly a month ago when she had a run-in with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). According to her, the MCD wanted to shut down her stall in Sainik Vihar, Delhi, and the officials were demanding money after she had already paid them Rs 30,000-35,000. Recently, the police seized her stall as they had received complaints from the neighbourhood that Dixit had held a community feast which created a traffic jam and created inconvenience for the locals. The police confirmed that her stall was seized as she didn’t have the permit from the municipal authority.
