First price hike for 2024 Hyundai Creta: Find out how much it costs

Prices for the 2024 Creta petrol increase by Rs 3,500, while diesel prices climb by Rs 10,500 on select models.

Hyundai introduced the 2024 Creta in January of this year, and it has since broken sales records in the mid-size SUV sector. In February, it set a sales record of 15,276 units, which was surpassed in March by 16,458 units. The Creta also became the second-best-selling vehicle in March 2024. The South Korean company has chosen to increase the price of the new Creta for the first time. 

Hyundai Creta: New prices

The Creta’s naturally aspirated entry-level E and the two turbo petrol variants’ prices remain unchanged. The Hyundai mid-size SUV starts from Rs 11 lakh while the 1.5 Turbo DCT SX(O), and the 1.5 Turbo DCT SX(O) dual-tone trims are priced at Rs 20 lakh and Rs 20.15 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. As for the rest of the range, there’s a price hike of Rs 3,500. 

The Creta diesel range, on the other hand, has also received an increase in price barring the two top-of-line trims, the SX(O) 1.5 AT and the SX(O) 1.5 AT dual-tone. The former is available at Rs 20 lakh and the latter at Rs 20.15 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. The rest of the diesel range gets a hike of Rs 10,500. 

Hyundai Creta: Engine Specs

The Creta is available in three engine options, the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, the 1.5-litre turbo petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel. The NA has a power output of 113bhp and 143.8Nm, the turbo churns out 158bhp and 253Nm and the 114bhp diesel has 250Nm of torque. The naturally aspirated petrol and diesel engines are available with a 6-speed manual gearbox. All three engines get automatic transmissions, the 1.5-litre petrol is mated to a CVT, the turbo petrol with a 7-speed dual-clutch and the diesel with a 6-speed torque converter.
