Citroen has stepped into the CNG market by launching CNG variants of the C3. The C3 CNG will now be available across Citroën dealerships via a certified retrofitment program This means, instead of a proper factory-fitted kit, the French carmaker is offering a CNG kit at the dealership level which costs Rs 93,000 on top of the car’s price.
Hence, in effect, prices for Citroen C3 CNG range between Rs 7.16 lakh and Rs 9.24 lakh (ex-showroom). Citroen has joined hands with Lovato to supply and install the CNG kits on the crossover hatch. The CNG kit is available across all four trims namely Live, Feel, Feel(O) and Shine.
Kumar Priyesh, Business Head & Director – Automotive Brands, Stellantis India, said: “We are pleased to introduce the CNG retrofitment option for the Citroën C3, reinforcing our commitment to provide accessible, economical, and eco-conscious mobility solutions.
