Rolls-Royce will be launching its ultra-luxurious electric vehicle, the Spectre Black Badge, today in India. The Spectre made its global debut in February 2025 and for the first will be under the Black Badge banner. At the launch, Chris Brownridge, Chief Executive, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, said, “Black Badge Spectre is one of the clearest statements of power and purpose we have ever made. It has been created in the image of our boldest and most audacious clients, with meticulous attention to detail.
From the beginning of Black Badge Spectre’s journey, the clients who requested this extraordinary motor car dared us to share their fearless spirit. In response, our engineers combined data science, qualitative feedback, and their own deep knowledge of the brand’s alter ego to craft an intense and uncompromising character, and the most powerful Rolls-Royce in history. Reflecting the Black Badge character, our designers and artisans realised their most dramatic and provocative vision with vivid details and exquisite contemporary crafts. The result is Black Badge Spectre: the alter ego of our brand, amplified.”
The Spectre Black Badge is Rolls-Royce’s most powerful vehicle in its portfolio.
Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre: Specifications
According to Rolls-Royce, the Royce Black Badge Spectre has a four-figure torque output of 1075 Nm, with a record 650 bhp of power. It does 0 -100 kmph in 4.1 seconds. Rolls-Royce chassis engineers have made targeted upgrades to empower drivers to harness the Black Badge Spectre’s immense power confidently.
Increased steering weight offers greater feedback, while refined roll stabilisation minimizes body roll during cornering. Enhanced dampers improve body control, reducing ‘squatting’ during acceleration and braking. These changes strike a perfect balance, delivering heightened driver engagement while preserving the seamless operation and iconic Magic Carpet Ride that define Rolls-Royce vehicles. Vapour Violet is a striking black-violet paint finish, inspired by the vibrant neon glow of 1980s and 1990s club culture, a nostalgic nod that resonates strongly with many Black Badge clients.
