Audi has announced the commencement of bookings for the facelifted Q8 in India. The German marque has already shared multiple teasers of the updated flagship SUV on various social media platforms. Interested buyers can book the new Audi Q8 at a token price of Rs 5 lakh either through the Audi India website or via ‘myAudi connect’ App.
Globally unveiled in September last year, the new Q8 will continue to sit at the top of Audi’s SUV lineup above the Q7. The upcoming Q8 facelift will break covers in India on August 22 and it will majorly concentrate on subtle styling tweaks over the outgoing model.
2024 Audi Q8 facelift: What to expect?
Through the recent teasers shared by the company on social media, the new Audi Q8 facelift gets a redesigned blacked-out octagonal front grille with honeycomb mesh internals. The grille will be flanked by sleeker Matrix LED headlamps with integrated pixelated LED DRLs. A similar pixelated treatment has been carried over the connected LED taillamps with a thin LED stripe across the tailgate.
Further, the front and rear bumpers appear to be reprofiled. New alloy wheel design running between 21-inch and 23-inch will be offered with the new Q8. The latest iteration of Q8 makes use of dark elements such as blacked-out wheels, front and rear bumpers, tinted greenhouse, and smoked treatment on headlamp and taillamp clusters. The overall design, however, remains unchanged.
The cabin too will share the same design and layout as the outgoing model with changes limited to new contrast accents to the all-black cabin and different stitching on the upholstery. In terms of features, the Q8 will continue to offer Audi’s dual MMI touchscreens, a digital instrument console, four-zone temperature control, a head-up display, connected car tech, electrically adjustable front seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions.
The new Audi Q8 will be available in eight exterior colours including Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Samurai Gray, Glacier White, Satellite Silver, Tamarind Brown, and Vicuna Beige. The interiors will be offered in four colour options namely Okapi Brown, Saiga Beige, Black, and Pando Gray.
