Tata Motors has launched the 2025 Altorz facelift starting from Rs 6.89 lakh, ex-showroom introductory price. The premium hatchback is available in four variants starting from Smart, Pure, Creative and Accomplished S. The latter top trim comes in two options — Accomplished S and Accomplished+ S. Tata Motors announced that the bookings for the 2025 Altroz commence from June 2.
2025 Tata Altroz Facelift: Engine and Transmission Options
The Altroz facelift is available in three different powertrains starting from the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, the 1.5-litre diesel and the CNG trim. What was interesting to note is that the Indian automobile manufacturer has decided not to introduce the 118bhp 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine that is available in the Altroz Racer.
The 1.2-litre Revotron NA petrol engine makes around 87 bhp and 115 Nm. Tata Motors offers this engine with three transmission options — a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic and the new 5-speed AMT. The 1.5-litre diesel, on the other hand, churns 89 bhp and 200 Nm of torque and only comes with a 5-speed manual. At the moment, the diesel does not get an automatic option.
According to Tata Motors, the diesel Altroz does 0 -100 kmph in 12.8 seconds. The Altroz CNG is powered by the NA petrol but produces around 72 bhp and 103 Nm of torque. Like the diesel variant, the CNG version only gets a 5-speed gearbox.
2025 Tata Altroz Facelift: Features
The Altroz is packed with premium and luxury features, which are new in the segment. Tata Motors has made the cabin plush with a dual-tone cabin and uses soft-touch materials on the dashboard. The Altroz is the first in its class to offer a twin 10.25-inch digital cockpit that includes the infotainment system by Harman and an instrument cluster. It is equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with AudioWorX’s customizable sound modes.
According to Tata Motors, the 10.25-inch digital cluster is two times bigger than its competition and offers multiple functions like an in-built navigation system, blind spot monitor, etc. The cabin gets ambient lighting, a wireless phone charger, an air purifier and four fast charging 65W Type-C ports. The 2025 Altroz is equipped with four types of voice command functions, express cooling and connected car tech with over 50 smart features.
Keeping comfort in mind, the Altroz gets newly designed seats that are inspired by airport lounge seats that offer additional thigh support. Apart from tweaking the exterior design, the Altroz facelift is the first in the segment to get flush door handles, standard 16-inch wheels, connected LED tail lights and 90-degree door opening.

The Altroz facelift is packed with standard safety features like six airbags, 16-inch wheels, electronic stability program (ESP) and ISOFIX child seat anchorages. It further offers a 360-degree camera with 2D and 3D modes, blind spot monitor, emergency SOS calling facility,

The 2025 Altroz facelift is available predominantly in four variants with the Smart starting from Rs 6.89 lakh, the Pure from Rs 7.69 lakh, the Creative at Rs 8.69 lakh and the Accomplished S at Rs 9.99 lakh, all introductory ex-showroom prices.
