As India’s best-selling scooter, the Activa 125 now faces off against its key competitor, the TVS Jupiter 125. 2025 Honda Activa 125 vs TVS Jupiter 125: Engine Specs
The 2025 Activa 125 is powered by an upgraded 123.92cc, single-cylinder engine that is now OBD2B compliant. It produces 8.3 bhp of power and 10.5 Nm of torque, mated to a CVT automatic gearbox. The scooter also comes with an idling stop system aimed at improving fuel efficiency.
In comparison, the TVS Jupiter 125 features a 124.8cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that delivers 8 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 10.5 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. Like the Activa 125, the Jupiter 125 also uses a CVT gearbox for smooth, automatic gear shifting.

2025 Honda Activa 125 vs TVS Jupiter 125: Features
Honda has equipped the updated Activa 125 with a host of new features, making it even more tech-forward. The most notable upgrade is the introduction of a 4.2-inch TFT screen, replacing the older analogue LCD instrument cluster. This display is controlled via a joystick on the handlebar for seamless navigation. The screen offers three adjustable brightness settings and toggles between day and night modes for optimal visibility. The scooter is also equipped with connected technology through the Honda RoadSync Duo app, which allows users to access features like turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, and music control. Additionally, the Activa 125 now features a USB Type-C charging port, a side-stand engine cut-off for added safety, and a start/stop switch for convenience.
The TVS Jupiter 125, meanwhile, comes with a fully digital instrument cluster that displays key information like speed, fuel level, trip meter, and connected tech. It is also equipped with the SmartXonnect feature, which enables turn-by-turn navigation with voice assist, weather updates, live cricket scores, and more. The Jupiter 125 also boasts the longest seat in its class at 790 mm, providing extra comfort. For storage, it offers a generous 33 litres of under-seat space, along with an additional 2-litre glove box for added convenience.
