Hyundai is preparing to launch the Alcazar facelift which is scheduled for September 9. Earlier last week, the South Korean carmaker commenced bookings for the three-row SUV. Interested buyers can book the upcoming iteration of Alcazar at a token amount of Rs 25,000.
Recently, images of the updated Alcazar were released by the carmaker revealing substantial cosmetic and feature upgrades over the outgoing model. The new Alcazar will be available in four variants namely Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature, and it will be offered in nine colour options.
2024 Hyundai Alcazar colour options
Out of the nine shades, three will be all-new options whereas eight will be mono-tone paint schemes. The three new paint schemes will be Robust Emerald Pearl, Robust Emerald Matte and Fiery Red. Other shades on offer will be Titan Grey Matte, Starry Night, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, and Atlas White. The last option can also be availed with an Abyss Black roof to give the SUV a dual-tone look.
The outgoing Alcazar offered with two dual-tone options where the Abyss Black roof can be had with either Ranger Khaki or Titan Grey. Further, Hyundai has discontinued the monotone Typhoon Silver shade.
Inside the cabin as well, the 2024 Alcazar wears a new dual-tone Noble brown and haze navy colour scheme. In this scheme, the dashboard and upholstery are finished in dark blue and tan.
2024 Hyundai Alcazar features expected
Like the current Alcazar, the upcoming facelifted model is expected to exude all glitz with features such as twin 10.25-inch displays — the infotainment system and the instrument cluster—, front ventilated seats, three drive modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport, dual-zone climate control, a premium Bose music system, voice assist panoramic sunroof and a cooled glove box.
However, the biggest addition to the Alcazar equipment will be a Level 2 ADAS suite that will offer 19 advanced safety features like Forward Collision Avoid Assistance for vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, Junction Turning, adaptive cruise control, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist and much more.
2024 Hyundai Alcazar engine options
2024 Hyundai Alcazar is expected to boast of the same engine options as the outgoing model. This includes a 1.5-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. The former delivers 157 bhp and 253 Nm, while being mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The diesel engine, on the other hand, generates 114 bhp and 250 Nm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic torque converter.
