Honda Cars India has planned an aggressive year ahead and showcased its entire new line-up at the recently concluded Auto Expo 2018. The company will be launching its all-new Honda Amaze soon early next financial year followed by either Honda Civic and new generation Honda CR-V. While at the Auto Expo Amaze and Civic became the trending cars, Honda CR-V too allured the visitors and the strong bold looks have already impressed the potential buyers. The new 2018 Honda CR-V is likely to debut in India by the festive season and the company is yet to confirm if the launch of this SUV will be before or after Honda Civic that makes a comeback into the Indian market after years.

New 2018 Honda CR-V is sharper, aggressive and gets an angular design that gives it a whole new look when compared to the outgoing model. The face of the SUV gets thick chrome bar similar to other Honda Cars. It also gets a new headlamp cluster with DRLs and new fog lamp cluster. The rear also gets new taillights and different design.

Inside the new 2018 Honda CR-V there are more new features, space and added comfort. The dashboard is neatly laid-out with premium quality materials, better upholstery and 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a navigation system developed by Garmin. It will also support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and A/C climate control both on front and rear.

The new Honda CR-V for the first time will also see the addition of a new diesel engine. The SUV will be powered by a 1.6L diesel engine shedding a power of 157 bhp and a 2.4L petrol engine with a maximum power output 184 bhp.

Expect the price of new Honda CR-V to start at around Rs 25 lakh going up to Rs 30 lakh (ex-Showroom). Expect the launch either during 3rd of fourth quarter of Financial Year 2018-19.
