Yamaha India has given the MT-15 Version 2.0 a dash of additional flair with MotoGP livery to give it an aggressive styling. With the Monster Energy racing colours, the muscular motorcycle offers a streak of sportiness and will attract a lot of attention on the road.
Yamaha MT-15 MotoGP Edition: Design and Hardware
The naked motor has a dynamic design that makes it stand out in the crowd with the slim twin LED headlights and the predictor-shaped front cowl. The body is all-black except for the tank extensions which sport the Monster Energy graphics.
In terms of dimensions, the MT-15 is 2015 mm in length, 800 mm in width, 1070 mm in height and a wheelbase of 1325 mm. It has a seat height of 810 mm and 170 mm of ground clearance. It gets a 282 mm front disc brake and a 220 mm disc at the rear. It comes standard with a dual-channel ABS, telescopic upside and down front forks and a mono-shock rear suspension.
Yamaha MT-15 MotoGP edition: Engine
The MT-15 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition is powered by a 155 cc liquid-cooled 4-valve engine with an output of 18.1 bhp at 10000 rpm and 14.1 Nm at 7500 rpm torque. By connecting to the Y-Connect app, one can receive SMS, calls and email alerts on the instrument cluster. The app also informs you where the motorcycle was last parked and sends maintenance alerts.
