Hero recently updated the Karizma, when speculations arose about the motorcycle being discontinued and getting a larger engine. While this is on the cards, as the motorcycle was showcased at EICMA, the 210 is not going anywhere as of now, and Hero has even given the motorcycle some crucial updates in terms of hardware and tech. So here’s a detailed look at what’s changed in the 2025 Hero Karizma 210 XMR.

Updated 2025 Hero Karizma 210 — How different is it completed to the old one?

While Hero has not discontinued the older Karizma 210, the updated model will sit above the existing version as a higher-spec variant. This new top variant costs Rs 2 lakh, ex-showroom, while the older version (base variant) is priced at Rs 1.8 lakh, ex-showroom. For the additional price, the 2025 Karizma 210 gets new colour options, especially the grey and black theme the Combat version comes in, giving it a much sportier look.

The next change is the suspension setup — the 2025 version gets USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear, while the base variant gets traditional telescopic forks and a monoshock at the rear. Braking hardware is the same, along with dual-channel ABS and 17-inch wheels.

The next update comes in the form of instrumentation — the 2025 model or the higher-spec variant gets a TFT instrument console with phone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alert, vehicle battery status, and music control. The older version or the base variant of the Karizma, gets an LCD instrument cluster.

Updated 2025 Hero Karizma 210 — Engine specifications

The engine specifications stay the same. The 2025 Hero Karizma is powered by the same 210cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that powers the base version and the new Hero XPulse 210. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The Karizma 210 competes with the Gixxer 250 SF, Pulsar RS200, Yamaha R15, and the KTM RC200 amongst others in the segment.
