TVS has launched a new variant of the 125cc Jupiter. Called Jupiter 125 dual-tone SXC, this new variant sits in the middle of the Jupiter 125 range which is priced at Rs 88,942. The Jupiter 125 is currently priced from Rs 80,740 for the base Drum-Alloy variant. It is offered in four variants, with the top-end SmartXconnect model priced at Rs 92,001 (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
TVS Jupiter 125 DT SXC: What’s new?
As expected, this new variant of Jupiter 125 comes with minor feature additions over the base-spec variant. As the name suggests, this new variant of TVS Jupiter 125 is available with two dual-tone colour options: Ivory- Brown and Ivory Grey. The other big changes are bigger front and rear tyres for enhanced stability and better grip on the roads.
The new variant of Jupiter also gets a larger and more advanced reverse LCD digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity that offers call and SMS alerts along with real-time and average mileage indicators. The other key feature highlights include turn-by-turn navigation voice commands, and vehicle tracking, delivering a more connected ride experience.
Speaking on the launch, Mr. Aniruddha Haldar, Senior Vice President — Head Commuter & EV Business and Head Corporate Brand & Media, TVS Motor Company, said, “Today’s customers are not just buying a scooter, they are investing in a reflection of their progressiveness. After the successful launch of TVS Jupiter 110, it made perfect sense to give the TVS Jupiter 125 a fresh update.”
Other conveniences on offer include a 33-litre underseat storage (the largest in segment) which is good enough to fit in two helmets, a front fuel cap, and a 2 litre front open glove box. Contrary to previous expectations, there is no change in how the Jupiter 125 looks.
Mechanically, the 2025 TVS Jupiter 125 retains the same 124.8cc single-cylinder engine, delivering up to 8.7 bhp of peak power and 11.1 Nm of peak torque, aided by iGo assist.
