When one thinks of the Triumph Rocket 3, ‘powerful’, is what comes to one’s mind. However, Triumph has managed to give the motorcycle even more power and torque while giving it the right ‘Storm’ moniker, which suits the attitude of the motorcycle.
The new Triumph Rocket 3 Storm features a blacked-out theme for most of its cycling parts while being complimented by the choice of Carnival Red, Satin Pacific Blue, and Sapphire Black combinations. Overall, the colour combination adds to the persona of the motorcycle.
Triumph Rocket 3 Storm: Engine specifications
The Rocket 3 Storm gets the same displacement engine – a 2,458cc inline triple – which is still the largest displacement for a production motorcycle currently. While the R and GT models make 165bhp, folks at Triumph have managed to squeeze more power on the Storm, which now makes 180bhp and 225Nm of torque.
Helping tame the power are riding modes, a quickshifter, ABS, and large disc brakes at both ends. The motorcycle also gets some luxury features such as heated grips, a TFT dash with phone connectivity, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and more, while retaining the top-of-the-shelf suspension and braking components.
There is no word yet on the India launch of the new Triumph Rocket 3 Storm, however, keeping in mind that Triumph sells all its international models here, it’s only a matter of time before the potent Storm arrives at our shores.
