Steelbird marks 60th anniversary by launching new helmet at Rs. 1199

Steelbird is growing its Riderz Shoppe network with a goal of adding 800 more stores by the end of 2025.

On the occasion of the 60th Anniversary Steelbird HI-tech India ltd. has launched a new helmet named SBA -17 RDX. This announcement will not only excite the bike enthusiast but will definitely help the company to solidify their position as a global leader in trading high-quality helmets and riding gear while championing road safety worldwide.

SBA-17 RDX Helmet characteristics includes a durable thermoplastic shell, replaceable cheek pads, a stylishly designed interior, high-density EPS for superior impact protection, and a scratch-resistant polycarbonate visor with an integrated inner sun shield which will give it a classy look. In addition to it, there’s good news for the riders that this helmet will be launched this year itself.

Steelbird manufacturing capacity increase 

The company has decided to invest Rs 250 crore over a new manufacturing unit which will be constructed in southern India, the company also decided to scout for land in and around Hosur, Tamil Nadu. The strategy behind implanting this is to address the growing demand for helmets in the aftermarket and among original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the southern region of India. Though right now the company’s main target is to have a maximum output of 50,000 units per day from the existing plant which is located at Baddi.
