Royal Enfield recently shared images of the upcoming Himalayan 750 and the all-electric Himalayan on its social media handles. The images showed the Enfield management testing both the adventure tourers to their limits. What the company didn’t share is that it was also testing the upcoming Flying Flea range — C6 and S6.
The Chennai-based bikemaker earlier this year showcased two electric motorcycles under the new Flying Flea brand — the C6 which is a classic roadster and the S6 which is its scrambler derivative. The former is expected to launch first, around early 2026 whereas the latter will follow most likely at a later date in 2026.
Both test mules are fully wrapped underneath a camouflage but appear to be close to production. Royal Enfield is known to test all its motorcycles in extreme conditions including high altitude and uncharted terrain. The Flying Flea C6 has previously been seen testing in India, but this marks the first instance where both motorcycles have been spotted together.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 vs S6
There is nothing much to differentiate between the two electric motorcycles. The C6 adopts a neo-retro classic styling whereas the S6 takes a slightly more rugged appeal with a different handlebar, offset instrument console and a high front fender. Another point of difference between the C6 and the S6 is that the former runs on road-biased tyres with alloy wheels while the S6 runs on dual-purpose tyres with spoke wheels.
Both battery-powered motorcycles are based on a new dedicated EV platform internally called the L platform. The upcoming electric bikes from Enfield look very sleek and petite in comparison to its conventional petrol-powered motorcycles. It clearly draws inspiration from the original Flying Flea, featuring a minimalist design with a slim, low-slung profile, round headlamps, girder front forks, and an elongated fender.
At the moment, details regarding the upcoming twin Flying Flea bikes are very scarce. In terms of features, they will come equipped with LED lighting and turn signals, a fully digital TFT circular instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. While the full list of features is yet to be unveiled, the modernized Flying Flea is expected to offer amenities such as traction control and multiple ride modes. There’s no word on battery or motor specs, but the C6 and the S6 are expected to return a range of 100 km on a single charge.
