Ola has revised the prices of the S1 X range of electric scooters. As a result, the base S1 X variant, the entry-level model for the Ola range of e-scooters, is now priced at Rs 69,999 (ex-showroom). This means a price slash of Rs 10,000. Prices for the other variants of the S1 X range have also been reduced.
Ola S1 price revision
The S1 X range comprises three battery variants— the base 2 kWh battery, a 3 kWh unit, and a 4 kWh unit. These scooters offer an IDC-certified peak single-charge range of 95 km, 143 km, and 190 km, respectively. The 3 kWh battery variant of S1 X is priced at Rs 84,999, while the 4 kWh battery variant is priced at Rs 99,999 (all prices ex-showroom).
The base variant can clock a top speed of 85 kmph whereas the mid-spec and top-end trim can attain a top speed of 90 kmph. There are three riding modes on offer Eco, Normal, and Sports and the top speed varies depending on the selected riding mode. Besides the updated prices, deliveries for the updated S1 X line-up will begin next week onwards.
Ola Electric offers all its scooters with an eight-year/80,000 km complementary warranty at no extra cost. Meanwhile, the Bengaluru-based EV brand has also announced prices for its rest of the models on its lineup. Prices for S1 X+, S1 Air, and S1 Pro have remained nearly unchanged. On the other hand, S1 X+ is now priced at Rs 84,999. The S1 Air is priced at Rs 1.05 lakh, while the S1 Pro is priced at Rs 1.30 lakh currently. (all prices ex-showroom).
