KTM is updating and ramping up its lineup for the Indian market and the latest on the cards are the 390 Adventure and its stripped-down version, the 390 Enduro. Based on the all-new Adventure, the latest images of the Enduro testing have surfaced. Here are some fresh details about the motorcycle.
KTM 390 Enduro: What to expect?
The 390 Enduro is not for the faint heart as it is a watered-down version of the Adventure without any excess weight like no heavy cladded body panels, an elevated simple mudguard, minus a bulky front fairing and a single saddle. The slim fuel tank gets additional design elements like the extensions. The 390 Enduro’s exhaust disappears underneath the belly. The motorcycle sports dual-purpose 21-inch spoke wheels in front and 18-inch at the rear.
The motorcycle has a straight comfortable riding position and a tall stance with upside-down front forks and adjustable rear mono-shock. It is expected to come with adjustable clutch and brake levers, 320 mm front disc brake and 240 mm disc at the rear.
KTM 390 Enduro: Engine and Features
The Enduro will be powered by the 399 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC from the 390 Duke that produces 45.3 bhp and 39 Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. It is expected to be equipped with traction control, cornering ABS, Quickshifter+, dual-channel ABS and multiple ride modes.
The Enduro doesn’t get the split LED headlights but rather a simple headlight, but it should have all LED illumination lamps including the turn indicators. The spy images don’t reveal the instrument cluster, but a digital console can be expected.
The Enduro 390 is expected to be priced in between the 390 Duke and the upcoming 390 Adventure. The 390 Duke starts from Rs 3.12 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi
