Kinetic Green has decided to give the E Luna a practical spin that could gate-crash the scooter segment. The new electric two-wheeler will be the seventh variant of the E Luna after E Luna X2, E Luna X3, E Luna X3 GO, E LunaX3 Plus, E Luna X3 Pro and E Luna X3 Prime. The E Luna range starts from Rs 69,990 to Rs 82,490, ex-showroom. The new trim’s USP is that it will offer additional storage space.

New Kinetic E Luna: What to expect?

Based on the patent image, the new Kinetic E Luna has a storage box based on its floorboard. The compartment looks to have enough space to keep small objects similar to a scooter though it won’t have enough storage to keep a half-faced helmet.

Kinetic has spruced up the E Luna’s design and premium quotient with a set of new alloy wheels. This is a first for the E Luna as the rest of the six variants come standard with spoke wheels. The new E Luna trim is expected to run on tubeless tyres, which will neutralize puncture issues.

The E Luna is expected to retain the same 2.3kWh battery and a 2200 W motor, which according to the company offers a range of 115 km in a single charge. It take around 4 hours to be fully charged and has a top speed of 50 kmph. The E Luna comes with 16-inch wheels, front telescopic forks and a twin tube shocker at the rear. Kinetic is offering the E Luna in five colours — Mulberry Red, Ocean Blue, Pearl Yellow, Sparkling Green and Night Star Black.
