Classic Legends has introduced the third model in the Jawa 42 series, the Jawa FJ, starting at Rs 1.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The Jawa 42 FJ is available in a single variant with six trims, differentiated by colour and wheel options — spokes or alloys. Meanwhile, the 2024 Classic 350 is offered in five trims, with prices ranging from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 2.30 lakh, ex-showroom.

Jawa 42 FJ vs Royal Enfield Classic 350: Engine
The Jawa 42 FJ gets a bigger and more powerful 334 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with an output of 29 bhp and 29.6 Nm of torque. The engine is mated with a six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. It is based on a new double cradle frame, new 41 mm telescopic front forks and twin gas-filled rear shockers. It has a seat height of 800 mm and a ground clearance of 178 mm.
The 2024 Classic 350 receives mechanical changes, hence, it retains the 20.2 bhp 349 cc J series air-oil cooled single-cylinder engine with 27 Nm. It gets a 5-speed gearbox. The Classic 350 gets 41 mm telescopic front forks and twin tube rear shockers with a seat height of 805 mm and 170 mm ground clearance.

The Jawa 42 FJ has all LED illumination, an LCD digital instrument cluster, and a USB charging port. It also has segment-first aluminium elements like fuel tank cladding, headlamp holder and grab handles, and footpegs.
The Classic 350 is equipped with all LED headlamps, pilot lamps and tail lights. The top model also features LED indicators, a Tripper navigation pod and adjustable clutch and brake levers. Other standard features are a Type-C charging port and an analogue speedometer with a gear indicator in the LCD cluster.
