April was a bittersweet month for Royal Enfield as it sold 76,002 units, which is a marginal increment of 1.28% year-on-year. What was really disappointing for the iconic two-wheeler company is that it registered a 13.68 % decline month-on-month. Royal Enfield sold 88,050 units in March, which was a massive 33.32% growth year-on-year.
Royal Enfield April sales: Number one position goes to …
First and foremost, there are no prizes in guessing which Royal Enfield motorcycle topped the charts. It is the company’s best-selling bike to date, the Classic. Even though the retro motorcycle continues to lead the way for the company with 26,801 units in April, it actually saw over 9% decline month-on-month. In March 2025, the Classic revved its way to 33,115 units, which was a massive 29.82% growth year-on-year.
Royal Enfield April sales: Hunter 350 takes runners-up place
The Hunter was aimed at the youth and urban riders, and it has been an instant success ever since it made its debut in 2022. The Hunter 350 is the most affordable motorcycle in the portfolio as it starts from Rs 1.50 lakh, ex-showroom. The motorcycle registered 18,109 units in April, which saw a 6.7% hike as compared to March’s 16,958 units. It recorded an 11.8% jump year-on-year as it sold 16,186 units in April 2024.
Royal Enfield April sales: Bullet 350 finishes third
Royal Enfield’s oldest nameplate, the Bullet 350, saw an impressive growth of 25% month-on-month as it sold 16,489 units in the last month. Month-on-month, on the other hand, was a different story as it saw a 25% decline as the Bullet 350 sold 21,987 units. Royal Enfield April sales: Simply cruising with Meteor 350
As the Bullet 350 saw an impressive growth, the Meteor 350 saw a drop of around 25% year-on-year as it sold 7,644 units. The cruiser sold 10,132 units in April 2024. The downslide continues for the Meteor 350, as in March it sold 8,912 units. Royal Enfield April sales: Finally, the 650cc twins
Traditionally, the 650s from Royal Enfield don’t fare too well in the Indian market as the 350 cc continues to dominate. The original 650 twins — the Interceptor and the Continental GT — remain the best-selling bikes in this segment for Royal Enfield. In April, the twins sold 3,127 units, which saw a dip of 6% month-on-month. There’s a silver lining for the 650 twins as they registered over 42% growth year-on-year, as it sold 2,189 units last year.
