KTM India is buzzing with a slew of unveils at the annual motorcycle pilgrimage, the Indian Bike Week in Goa. The Austrian company has taken the covers of the 390 Enduro R, which made its debut at EICMA 2024 in Milan in November. KTM will open the bookings for the Enduro R on December 10. The two-wheeler manufacturer has not announced the launch date, but it may unveil the prices at the Bharat Global Mobility Expo 2025 in January. Here is all you need to know about the 390 Enduro R.
KTM 390 Enduro R: What is it?
The Enduro R will be a new addition to the KTM lineup. Being a hardcore off-roader with a minimalistic design to keep it lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, the Enduro R is like s dirt bike with a flat seat, tall ground clearance, a long front fork with tall wheel travel and a raised beak-like front fender. The suspension set-up is upside-down front forks and mono shock at the rear. It sits on a 21-inch front rim and 18-inch at the rear with spoke wire knobby tyres.
In terms of features, the Enduro R is equipped with a simple LCD instrument cluster with a single-piece headlight, unlike the complex vertically stacked LED headlight cluster in the 390 Adventure.
KTM 390 Enduro R: Engine
Both the Adventure 390 and the Enduro R finally get the new 399 cc LC4c liquid-cooled engine which is currently available in the 390 Duke. It produces 45.3 bhp and 39 Nm of torque and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. It also has a button to switch off the ABS.
