There are no changes in the engine specifications of the 2024 Pulsar N250. It derives power from the same 249cc air/oil-cooled motor which kicks out 24.1 bhp and 21.5 Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch. The Gixxer 250, on the other hand, is powered by a 249cc air/oil-cooled engine which kicks out 24.1 bhp and 21.5 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are carried out by a 6-speed gearbox.

The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250 gets an update in the form of  upside down front forks as opposed to the conventional telescopic forks, seen in Gixxer 250. Rear suspension unit includes a mono-shock for both models. Braking duties are carried out by 300mm front discs whereas the N250 gets a slightly larger 300mm front disc brake. Both bikes get a dual-channel ABS as standard but the Pulsar N250 betters its rivals with a switchable rear ABS.

The updated Pulsar N250 clearly has ramped up its game when it comes to features and gives the Gixxer a run for its money. Both bikes get a fully digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and a slipper clutch. While Gixxer 250 gets an optional 12V charging socket, the quarter-litre naked Pulsar benefits from a USB charging port.

However, the Japanese motorcycle misses out on ABS modes, traction control,and switchable rear ABS which its Indian counterpart boasts of.
