Ather Energy will be introducing its next big product this year on the Ather Community Day later this year. Named Rizta, Ather has already teased the upcoming e-scooter on a couple of occasions earlier this year ahead of its launch April 6, 2024.
In one social media post, Ather Energy CEO and co-Founder, Tarun Mehta, claimed that Rizta will feature the largest seat on offer in a scooter across the country. This claim has been reiterated via a unique promotional campaign. To highlight this unique selling proposition, Ather has taken up an interesting way to tease their seat with a larger-than-life OOH installation in Mumbai (Worli) and Ahmedabad (Shivranjani Circle).
Ather emphasises that the Rizta’s XXXXXL seat is designed for unparalleled family comfort. There’s also speculation that Ather Rizta will offer the most generous storage capacity of any scooter on the market. Rizta will sit on a new architecture which will be slightly larger than the existing 450 Series.

Ather Rizta expected features
Although very little is known about the Rizta, from the couple of times it has been spotted testing, it is clear that Ather now wants to target an audience looking for a family scooter in the battery-powered segment that offers convenience and practicality. The spy shots revealed that the scooter will flaunt a completely different design from the current Ather 450s.
In terms of features, Ather is expected to equip the Rizta with a touch-based digital instrument console, connectivity via Bluetooth and app integration, music playback, navigation, LED lights, etc. The scooter will roll on spoke-alloy wheels. Other expected features to be offered with Rizta include multiple ride modes, fast charging, etc.
