The wait is over and KTM has launched the 2025 390 Adventure range in India, priced at Rs 2.91 lakh ex-showroom. The new KTM 390 Adventure range – KTM 390 Adventure and Adventure X – made its debut at EICMA. The motorcycle has received serious updates compared to the older version and is a more focused adventure motorcycle now, while the 390 Adventure X is a focused touring motorcycle with mild off-road capabilities.

2025 KTM 390 Adventure: Design and platform
The new KTM 390 Adventure range is based on a new trellis frame and features all the right adventure design. Borrowing styling from the larger adventure motorcycles in KTM’s range, the 390 Adventure features a large windscreen and a trademark headlight-DRL setup. The motorcycle gets a high-mounted front fender, wire-spoke wheels, a single-piece seat, and a narrow design. Overall, the new 390 Adventure has ticked all the right boxes for design. The 390 Adventure X features cast-alloy wheels.
2025 KTM 390 Adventure: Hardware and features
In terms of hardware, the new KTM 390 Adventure gets adjustable USD forks at the front, a monoshock at the rear, disc brakes at both ends, 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, a TFT display, and more. The motorcycle is well-equipped to take on any road with the ability to go off-road as well. The Adventure X gets a 19-17 setup.
In terms of features, the motorcycle gets all the bells and whistles. The TFT instrument console is the same unit as the 390 Duke and gets phone connectivity options. The motorcycle comes with dual-channel ABS, lean-sensitive ABS, traction control, ride modes, ABS modes, and LED lighting all around.
2025 KTM 390 Adventure: Engine specifications
In terms of power, the new KTM 390 Adventure range is powered by the same single-cylinder engine that does its duty in the 390 Duke — a 399cc, liquid-cooled unit mated to a six-speed gearbox. The new KTM 390 Adventure will compete directly against the Royal Enfield Himalayan. Apart from that, there are no direct rivals to the new KTM 390 Adventure range in India.
