Hero has been silently updating most of its products — Xpulse, Xtreme range, Xoom, and its long list of best-selling commuters, such as the Splendor, Glamour, and the Super Splendor. The Hero Splendor range caters to many customers and is also the best-selling product for the company, and keeping them relevant over time is crucial. That said, here are the updates on the 2025 Hero Super Splendor XTEC.

2025 Hero Super Splendor XTEC — What has changed compared to the older model?

The primary change on the new Hero Super Splendor XTEC is the engine — No, it does not get a large, liquid-cooled, multi-cylinder engine, instead, it gets updated to comply with the OBD-2B norms. The engine is the same 124.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder unit that makes 10.72bhp and 10.6Nm of peak torque with the help of a 5-speed gearbox.

Apart from the updates to the engine, the next significant update is the price — new prices start at Rs 88,128 for the drum brake variant, while the variant with a disc brake costs Rs 92,028, ex-showroom. These prices are higher than the older version by Rs 2,000 for each variant.

Apart from these changes mentioned, the motorcycle remains the same in terms of design and features. It gets a simple design that we are familiar with and comes in Matt Nexus Blue, Matt Grey, Black, and Candy Blazing Red colour schemes.

In terms of features, it continues to get telescopic forks, dual rear shocks, alloy wheels, a choice of either disc or drum brakes for the front, a drum brake at the rear, a digital instrument console with phone connectivity, and alloy wheels amongst others.
