One day after Ducati announced the bookings for the new Panigale V4, the company officially announced that the first lot for India has been sold out. Ducati has not revealed how many were allocated as part of the first lot, however, it is 25 percent of the motorcycles that are allowed for India. What’s interesting is that Ducati has not launched the 2025 Panigale V4 in India yet, nor announced prices.
2025 Ducati Panigale V4 — What made it sell out?
The 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 was unveiled last year and gets design updates, making it look sharper than before. The motorcycle gets a new swingarm and a TFT instrument console as part of the update. Electronics have been tweaked and the 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 gets multiple power modes, ride modes, traction control, wheelie control, slide control and a host more to offer the best performance.
And speaking of performance, the 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 draws power from a 1,103cc V4 liquid-cooled engine that makes a massive 214bhp and 120.9Nm of peak torque with the help of a six-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quickshifter. Helping keep all that power down are Ohlins NPX-30 pressurised forks up front, a TTX36 monoshock at the rear and Brembo Hypure brake callipers — a first for a superbike.
When launched, the Ducati Panigale V4 will compete with the BMW S 1000 RR in India, along with other Japanese motorcycles and the Aprilia RSV4. The BMW S 1000 RR saw a recent update and was launched at the Bharat Mobility Expo for a price of Rs 21.10 lakh ex-showroom.
