2024 Yamaha MT15 V2, Fascino, Ray ZR get new colour options

The latest set of updates from Yamaha are aimed to appeal to customers across India, particularly the Gen Zs.

As part of ‘The Call of The Blue’ brand campaign, Yamaha keeps bringing small updates to its India lineup. The latest set of updates have been applied to the company’s range of scooters– Fascino and Ray ZR– and the MT15 V2 naked streetfighter. These include new paint schemes and some nominal feature updates.

2024 Yamaha MT15 V2 updates

Yamaha has added an all-new Cyber Green colour option to the MT15 range which is priced at Rs 1,72,700 (ex-showroom). In addition, the Cyan Storm DLX colour scheme has received some graphical enhancements to make the street naked bike look more attractive. The updated colour palette of MT15 V2 continues to offer the existing shades including Dark Matte Blue, Metallic Black, Ice Fluo Vermillion, Racing Blue and Metallic Black.

Besides the updated colour schemes, Yamaha has also added the hazard lights function to the MT15’s equipment. Powering the MT15 is a 155cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 18.1bhp at 10,000rpm and 14.2Nm at 7,500rpm. This motor comes with the VVA tech and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch.

2024 Yamaha Fascino, Ray ZR updates

For 2024, the Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid lineup has received more than one new colour scheme. These include Cyan Blue, Matte Copper, Silver, and Metallic White which are available in both the drum and disc brake variants. Further, the drum brake variant of Fascino gets an all-new Metallic Black shade as well. The new paint options add to the existing range of Dark Matte Blue, Cool Blue Metallic and Vivid Red options.

For Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid, Yamaha has added the new Cyan Blue colour for both disc and drum variants, infusing a renewed sense of style and dynamism. Pre-existing shades such as Metallic Black, Matte Red, Racing Blue, and Dark Matte Blue remain available. Similarly, the Street Rally variant retains its distinct appeal with colours like Matte Copper, Matte Black, and Light Grey Vermillion.

Both the scooter models are powered by a 125cc blue core engine that churns out 8.04 bhp and a peak torque of 10.3 Nm. This motor is BS VI OBD2 and E-20 fuel compliant and comes one of the mild hybrid petrol scooters which gets an automatic stop and start feature and a smart motor generator for fuel savings and quiet starts.
