Royal Enfield has introduced the updated Classic 350 although prices for the same will be announced on 1 September 2024. We expect a small bump in prices for the Classic 350. For the added price premium, the updated Classic 350 gets additional features up its sleeve.
First launched in 2009, the Classic 350 got a generation upgrade in 2021. This is the first major update to the second-gen Classic 350 which continues to be the brand’s highest-selling model. The new set of updates are an attempt to make the Classic 350 a more appealing proposition to the younger generation of riders.
2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350: What’s new?
The 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 is visually identical to the outgoing model with no styling or cosmetic changes. However, the 2024 Classic 350 comes with a few crafty and useful feature upgrades which makes the retro bike slightly more modern. The most notable upgrade is a new circular LED headlamp and LED indicators.
The Classic 350 becomes the first 350cc Enfield to get a factory-fitted LED headlight as standard across the range. Even the signature pilot lamps have also been replaced by LED units. Another significant update is the addition of adjustable brake and clutch levers in the top two trims as standard, while in lower-spec variants as optional accessories.
Royal Enfield is offering a total of seven colour options with the updated Classic 350. These include new additions like Emerald Green with contrast Chrome, Jodhpur Blue, Madras Red, Medallion Brown Dual Tone, Commandos Storm, and Stealth among others. Moreover, Royal Enfield will be offering the Tripper Navigation pod as a standard fitment in the top two trims from hereon.
2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350: New variants
Royal Enfield has introduced changes to the variant nomenclature of the revamped Classic 350 range, which now comprises five distinct variants:Heritage, Heritage Premium, Signals, Dark and Emerald. In a departure from the outgoing model, the 2024 Classic 350 gets a disc brakes on both wheels as a standard offering across all variants.
Further, the Dark and Singnals variants stand out as the only options to feature alloy wheels and tubeless tires as standard, although these upgrades will be available as optional extras for the other four variants, allowing buyers to customise their purchase. The remaining equipment remains unchanged across the range.
2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350: Mechanical specs
Royal Enfield Classic 350 is powered by a robust 349cc air/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine, producing 20.2 bhp of power and 27 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a smooth-shifting 5-speed gearbox. The powertrain is nestled within a sturdy dual-cradle frame, suspended by 41mm telescopic forks at the front and preload-adjustable twin shock absorbers at the rear.
The new Classic 350 is now equipped with disc brakes on both wheels aided by a dual-channel ABS as standard now. Additional features include a classic analogue instrument cluster with a compact digital display which now gets a gear position indicator.
