Honda has given the CBR250RR an update in Malaysia, which sees a minor power increase, while the company has retained the motorcycle as is in other aspects. While Honda did sell the CBR250R in India, the RR version was never sold in the country.

Now, moving on to the motorcycle itself, the 2024 Honda CBR250RR is powered by a 249cc, twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that now makes 41bhp as opposed to 40bhp it earlier made. The torque output of the motorcycle remains the same at 25bhp.

Honda has managed to extract more power by increasing the compression ratio of the motorcycle and also by increasing the diameter of the intake port of the motorcycle. The gearbox is a 6-speed unit with a quickshifter.

In terms of hardware, the Honda CBR250RR gets USD forks, a monoshock at the rear, 17-inch wheels, clip-on bars, an LCD dash, disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS, and more, while the motorcycle tips the scale at 189kg.
