Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the 2023 CB200X at a price of Rs 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest iteration of adventure tourer gains an OBD2 compliant engine and some new body graphics.
Commenting on the launch, Yogesh Mathur, Director, Sales and Marketing, HMSI, said, “We are pleased to introduce the 2023 CB200X with an OBD2 compliant engine, stylish graphics and a new assist & slipper clutch. Marking a steady evolution in the 180-200cc motorcycle segment, the CB200X urban explorer is inspired by the dreams of the new-age customers.”
2023 Honda CB200X: Design, features
Honda hasn’t made any major changes to the design of CB200X but benefits from a new paint job and fresh graphics. The bike is now offered in three colour schemes including Pearl Nightstar Black, Sports Red, and the new Decent Blue Metallic.
In terms of features, CB200X gets a fully digital instrument panel with 5 levels of customizable brightness and is equipped with speedometer, odometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, twin trip metres, battery voltmeter, gear position indicator and a clock. It also gets an all-LED lighting system.
2023 Honda CB200X: Specs
Powering Honda CB200X is a 184.40cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that kicks out 17 bhp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 15.9 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The engine is now OBD2 compliant and meets the new BS6.2 emission regulations. Transmission duties are carried out by a 5-speed gearbox with a new slip-and-assist clutch.
As for hardware, the CB200X gets a suspension setup comprising golden-coloured upside down front forks and a rear monoshock. Anchorage is taken care of by petal disc brakes at front and rear, aided by a single-channel ABS. CB200X gets a seat height of 810mm, while the ground clearance stands at 167mm. It tips the weighing scales at 147 kg.
