DGCA puts army officer on no-fly list for 5 years after assault on SpiceJet staff
An Indian Army officer has been banned from flying for five years by DGCA after assaulting four employees at Srinagar airport. The airline described it as a "murderous assault", and their employees sustained serious neck and spine injuries. As many as 379 "unruly" passengers have been put on the list in the past five years.
