The Gandhidham Bhagalpur weekly special train will depart from Gandhidham at 5.40 pm every Friday and reach Bhagalpur at 6 pm on Sunday. It will run from April 27 to May 11. On its return leg, train 09452 Bhagalpur-Gandhidham Express will depart from Bhagalpur at 6.30 am every Monday and arrive Gandhidham at 8 am on Wednesday.

Every time a railway passenger buys a train ticket through IRCTC website or app using digital payment methods, a nominal amount is deducted for payments made through net banking, credit cards or debit cards, e-wallets etc.

In order to expand the Dabolim International Airport, Rs 400 crore is being invested by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). The expansion of the international airport will also include extension of the existing passenger terminal building and construction of more parking bays, among many others.

The country’s civil aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has allowed airlines to use this as an operating norm. A Delhi High Court order of April 18 asked the airlines and the DGCA to pull a plug on this practice, citing five recent incidents that have resulted in both loss of life and aircraft, as result of fatigue arising out of constant flying.

It may be mentioned that the project has been a talking point for almost 17 years now. It was first conceived by the Rajnath Singh government in 2001, and then pushed hard by the Mayawati government since she came to power in the state in 2007.
