The 2025 Maha Kumbh, hosted by Prayagraj, will mark a historic moment as millions of pilgrims experience hassle-free parking solutions for the first time, thanks to Park+. For this once-in-12-year event, Park+ offers an innovative way for pilgrims to discover, book, and prepay for parking spots at government-approved locations via the Park+ app. Additionally, car owners can seamlessly use their FASTag to pay for parking, making the entire process smoother and more efficient.
Commenting on this initiative, Amit Lakhotia, Founder & CEO, Park+ said, “… we are excited to collaborate with the Kumbh Mela Authority, to bring our smart parking services to Prayagraj. Over 40 crore pilgrims are expected to attend Maha Kumbh and we expect over 25+ lakh cars/vehicles to converge into Prayagraj in these 41 days. Devotees will be able to discover, pre-book and pre-pay for a safe and secure parking spot, on the Park+ App. Additionally, our FASTag enabled parking management system also allows car owners to pay for their parking using their FASTag, removing cash transactions completely. Our aim is to remove parking anxiety for all car owners coming to Maha Kumbh and ensure they have a seamless experience.”

Park+ app exclusive facilities
- To access all the services, simply download the Park+ app. Park+ is offering over 30 parking sites with a total capacity of 500,000 vehicles around the Araili Ghat area. Additional parking facilities are available at Navprayag (East & West), Tent City, Agriculture Institute, and Saraswati Hi-Tech City East. Cars, taxis, and buses can enjoy a seamless, cashless experience by using FASTag for payment.
- In partnership with Indian Oil petrol pumps, Park+ has launched the Prayagraj Ka Sabse Sasta Petrol offer, exclusively for Park+ app users. This special offer provides pilgrims with access to more affordable fuel during their visit.
- To ensure the safety of the venue, round-the-clock security is in place, including CCTV surveillance and regular patrolling of the grounds.
- The Maha Kumbh parking lots will offer electric vehicle charging stations for two-wheelers, three-wheelers and four-wheelers.
- There are multiple F&B facilities at the parking area where pilgrims can get a cup of tea or a hot meal. Apart from that, there are Park+ locations that offer everyone clean and safe washroom facilities.
- In case of an emergency, all Park+ locations provide medical assistance, with trained staff available at all times. Additionally, for any vehicle issues, repair kiosks are conveniently located on-site to offer immediate support.
