Volkswagen is all set to launch the new Tiguan R-Line in India and here are some interesting details about the SUV.

Volkswagen has found a way to tempt customers with the upcoming Tiguan R-Line, by revealing just enough information to keep everyone excited. Scheduled to launch next month, the Tiguan is open for pre-bookings across VW dealerships in India, or on the official website. However, before its launch, and with numerous reports on the internet, here are three highlights of the new Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line.

New Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line — Design

Starting with the design, the new Tiguan looks muscular and sporty. The SUV gets round wheel arches, LED headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels, the ‘R’ badging in the new grille, and sleek tail lamps. The new Tiguan R-Line will be available in six exterior colour options to choose from: Persimmon Red Metallic, Cipressino Green Metallic, Nightshade Blue Metallic, Grenadilla Black Metallic, Oryx White Mother of Peral Effect, and Oyster Silver Metallic.  

New Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line — Features

On the features front, the new Tiguan R-Line gets all-LED lighting, sports comfort seats in the front with ‘R’ badging, illuminated ‘R-Line’ finish on the dash, customisable ambient lighting with 30 colours to choose from, panoramic sunroof, brushed aluminium pedals, three-zone climate control, park assist, a fully-digital instrument console, a large infotainment system, and more.

New Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line — Engine specifications

Powering the new Tiguan R-Line will be 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine mated to a DSG gearbox. The engine makes 201bhp and 320Nm of peak torque and the power will be diverted to all four wheels via Volkswagen’s 4Motion AWD system. More details about the new Tiguan R-Line are expected in the coming days and the price announcement will happen on April 14.
