
Mercedes-Benz India Limited (MBIL), today launched its new ‘My Mercedes, My Service’ after-sales initiative. Key services of the offering include Digital Service Drive, Premier Express and Star Ease. The new service makes India the 2nd market after the US to receive the Digital Service Drive through the Service application. Using the new service, customers can for the first time in India book a servicing schedule for their vehicles in real-time. Customers can buy this service anytime upto the 4th year of the car’s ownership.
The new Star Ease offers customers a choice between 45 service packages, starting at a price of Rs 49,000 in order to keep maintenance costs under control. Within Star Ease there’s Star Ease Compact Plus, which offers choice between 3 years or 30,000 km, 3 years or 60,000 km, 4 years or 40,000 km, 4 years or 80,000 km and 5 years or 100,000 km.
Another first in the market is an online calculator for maintenance costs, which helps choose the right service plan as per usage patterns. Customers can now also order for a quicker service through the Premier Express Service, which will ensure completion of service in just two hours. This quick turnaround will be made possible by delegation of the service work to three specially trained technicians and a countdown timer in each bay.
Customers can also choose to get service updates on their car through a video call, increasing the transparency in the process.
These new packages are transferrable to new owners in the event of the car being sold, resulting in better peace of mind for the new owner.
