Datsun Cross compact SUV is set to make its debut on 18th January. Ahead of its world premiere, the feature list and brochure of Datsun Cross have leaked on the internet, courtesy Team-BHP.com and Autonetmagz.com. The new Datsun Cross will come with a host of new features and its SUVish design language will make it look distinct and bolder than its siblings. According to the leaked brochure images of the new Datsun Cross, the compact SUV will come with two variants. Out of these two, while one will come with a manual transmission, the other will come with a CVT unit. The new Datsun Cross will come with features like LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) along with projector units that should offer good illumination at nights. Besides, there will be fog lamps on offer as well. The compact SUV will also come with a roof spoiler along with a high mount stop lamp. The new Datsun Cross will get rear view mirror mounted turning winkers.
Inside the cabin of the new Datsun Cross, there will be multiple interesting features. The compact SUV will come with a touchscreen infotainment system. The dashboard design will also be refreshed in comparison to rest of the cars in the Datsun family. When talking about powertrain, the exact engine details are a mystery at the moment. It is believed that the new Datsun Cross will get its power from a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine. Besides, there can also be a 1.5-litre K9K diesel motor on offer. As already mentioned, the new Datsun Cross will get a five-speed manual transmission as standard. The latest bits on the internet suggest that the car will have a CVT transmission as well.
