India’s forex reserves jump $5.5 billion to $692.6 billion on sharp rise in gold value
India's forex reserves rose to $692.576 billion in November, with gold reserves increasing by $5.327 billion. This led to a jump of $5.543 billion from the previous week. Foreign currency assets also saw a slight increase, while the SDRs and reserve position with the IMF also grew. PMI data showed a decline in manufacturing and private sector growth in November.
