Yamaha Alpha
Yamaha Alpha is one of the Japanese brand’s offering in the commuter scooter market. It comes with the same 113cc “Blue Core” engine as found in other scooters from the company. It produces 7.2 PS of power at 7,500 rpm and 8.1 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm providing smooth acceleration and good fuel efficiency among the competition.
The design is standard, however, it comes with some interesting graphics. There are telescopic forks at the front along with an optional disc brake and it gets 21 litres of under seat storage.

Yamaha Alpha Braking and Safety
The base version of Alpha comes with drum brakes at both ends measuring at 130mm. However, another version of the scooter has been fitted with a front disc brake. Clearly, disc brake provides better braking performance and higher safety. Also, both tyres are tubeless.

Alpha delivers competitive fuel economy in its class. Also, the 5.2-litre fuel tank capacity is pretty generous in its segment.
